How Soon 'til That Doggie's In The Window?
The pet store coming to Rogers is showing signs of life, with a new sign hanging out front and the traditional "Work in Progress" paper over the windows.
Bow Wow Pet Boutique and Spa is going to be in the old Kay-D Express location at 521 Rogers Avenue (gmap), between Rutland and Midwood.

are they planning to actually sell pets? or just supplies/services? i hope just services...

The sign says Pet Boutique and Spa, so I don't think any live animals will be available.

I cannot wait until they open! I walk by every day and they seem to have a lot of renovation going on. They will be a great addition to our neighborhood.

I stopped by Trixie's and requested that they carry Nature's Recipe raw dog food, as I know there are several families in the Manor whose dogs are on a raw diet. Unfortunately, they told me that to date they will not even have a refrigerator, much less a freezer, so we all will still be driving to Sunset Park or the city. Perhaps others who are interested might make a similar suggestion over time?
ADDITIONALLY, and equally important, there are two women living in Patio Gardens offering pet sitting services, They are lovely; we have used them several times and I'd love to recommend them: their names are Chioma and Essence; the phone number is 917 445 0749

When speaking to the two new owners yesterday, I was told that they would groom, board, daycare, sit, walking, even pickup and drop off if needed! They even mentioned in home services. I'm truly elated at the thought of at home services. This would save me so much time. I don't have to worry when working late.
