Inflation Hits "No Flyer" Signs
After selling out of its first batch of "No Flyer" signs, Hawthorne Hardware has made the controversial move to try and make a profit: instead of selling the signs at cost, for $1, Hawthorne Hardware is raising the price to $1.29. Consider yourselves warned.

I have been asked to point out, in case it's not totally obvious, that I am kidding about the "warning." I told Nick (at Hawthorne Hardware) from the get-go that he should charge more than a dollar!

The signs I have from Crown Heights North Association are a whopping $2 each!

Hello - my name is Sean and I have been flyer free for 3 weeks (ever since I purchased and posted this sign on my frint gate). It works!

Wow, some controversy, a blue collar hardware store has the nerve to make a profit of 29 cents on a flyer made for 800K+ houses.

Did you read the comments before posting, brn442? You really should - especially when there are only three of them.

Sorry Charles, next time I will just assume that Carrie writes every article under the business section, and also try to pick up on any (subtle)sarcasm the writer herself acknowledges isn't there.
