Wine Shop on Fenimore Taking Shape
Back in early July, we reported that there was going to be a new wine shop (not liquor, wine) on Fenimore. I spend a fair amount of time on Fenimore but there was no evidence at all that this was true. Until today!
While we haven't been able to peek inside, a tipster sent us this photo of the new signs oustide of 65Fen, what has to be the soon-to-open wine shop at 65 Fenimore St. (duh), just off of Flatbush Avenue.

Pointing through a bulletproof glass to get a bottle of Yellowtail Shiraz is very unideal. That's why you will be welcomed to walk in, look around and purchase your bottle of wine. Yellowtail Shiraz or not. You are also invited to come to the Thrift sale that's happening there September 5-7 between 12-5 pm.

Actually, I live on that block and was curious. I googled it and there's an add on craigslist for 09/02 to rent the place. So no wine shop there I guess :(

The listing appears to hav been deleted, WFA, and Mika's recent comment indicates that they are on track.

Word on the street has this place opening up near thanksgiving. Apparently, there is a problem with the liquor license.
