New Indian joint opens Friday; Here's the menu
A new restaurant is opening in PLG on Friday. King of Tandoor, an Indian place, is located at 600 Flatbush Ave., between Midwood and Rutland. On Friday, they have an "Opening Day Special" - 50% off all menu items. For the next 6 days, all menu items will be 25% off. (Click the images above for the full menu.)
Fingers crossed!
UPDATE 7/24/09: The discounted prices are for dine in only.

Having lived a couple years in India, this menu gives me hope. Surprisingly wide assortment of North and South Indian dishes, and it looks like they'll have a real tandoor as well. And there are just enough misspellings to lead me to believe the real deal may be arriving on Flatbush between Midwood and Ruthland. Let's hope they have Kingfisher. If it's good, I'll be there a lot. Fingers crossed.

I was just informed that the 50% off is for dine-in only. The same applies for the 25% off during the week. Pick-up and delivery orders are full price.

I just got back from a meal at the new Indian restaurant. It was very crowded and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed BUT the food was at least as good as any Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in and MUCH better than most. I think this place will do very VERY well!
