PLG Business Update

The birdie who whispered in my ear about the possibility of a Dunkin' Donuts at Flatbush and Westbury has just whispered again that the faltering economy gave the franchisee cold feet. I've been told that the person walked away from the deal, leaving a deposit of $18,000 behind.

In other news, Lime is open again. I have no idea about whether it is open for the holidays or permanently or whether there has been a change in ownership (at any price). Either way, I'm happy to see the bar open.

re: LIIME owners did great job with refurbishing the place but i think most patrons felt a little stiff with the staff, and found that they were not quite friendly with the the community. a couple of times i went in feelin like i had to know somebody.
