Violent Crime in PLG and CB9 Meetings

Last night, at 10:14 PM at Bedford and Parkside, there was a shooting. This comes on the heels of an attempted armed robbery / shooting on Lefferts and Nostrand on Monday, a shooting at Flatbush and Parkside in the afternoon on November 13th, a homicide on the 12th at Woodruff and Ocean and a stabbing at Winthrop and Flatbush on the 5th.

Perhaps this spate of violent crime in our neighborhood is worth discussing at the CB9 meeting on Tuesday.

UPDATE: Tonight's CB meeting is not a general meeting, but rather for the Economic Development Committee. I have amended the post to correct. Tonight's meeting is at 7PM at 890 Nostrand Ave. The agenda is available here.

Luckily I hopped on the N-train coming home last night and had to backtrack from 35th street to Atlantic Avenue. Otherwise, I would might have walked right into a bullet. Was anyone injured? I didn't see an ambulance when I got there.

what happened exactly at bedford/parkside, flatbush/parkside and winthrop/flatbush?
