A couple of things: one is that there are plenty of cars, plenty, in Sen. Adams' district. People fight over parking spaces in his district. Many of the cars have illegal tags. Many tags are out-of-state tags even though the drivers clearly live in the neighborhood. But the point is this, that lots of people drive in his district and, like others, would welcome any reduction in their costs, wherever it comes from.

The other thing is that this elected official, Sen. Adams, has one of the strongest records out there as someone who's opposed police abuses, and he's caught much hell over te years for that position.

I'd dare say that police conduct is of more immediate concern to the majority of people in Adams' district that congestion pricing.

He merits a great deal of respect for that, even if, even if, for that alone.

Thanks.

Brooklyn Ron
